Wooden farm crate: H. Sargent, Hooe

Dating to the mid-1900s, the large crate features iron nails, wire reinforcements and corner supports, with a carry handle cut to each end. The sides marked H. Sargent & Sons, Hooe; the ends with Deposit 5/- S&S and a maker's stamp. 54 x 37 x 28cm high. Boasts an attractive antique patina, with age wear and some old woodworm holes adding character.
