West African folk art dress hanger: Peace

Hand-painted on plywood, the large, highly decorative hangers originate from 1960s-70s Ghana, where they were used in a boutique for displaying dresses and blouses. Each includes a name and a piece of traditional cloth for hanging. 54cm wide x 41cm high. Age-related imperfections
