Early-1900s coat hook mould wall hanging

Used for casting metal hooks (such as those seen in last image), the rare industrial mould would have made 16 half-hooks later to be fused together and hand finished. The front signed Mr L and with shape number 44; the back inscribed with date 18.10.28. Made from a heavy plaster/cement composite housed in a thick wooden frame with supports to rear. 47 x 35 x 7cm. Includes later wall brackets
