Painted French private fishing sign

Dating to the early 1900s, the endearing, custom-made sign is neatly hand-painted with the words Pêche Réservée (French for Private Fishing) in black and cream onto the back of a contemporary enamel sign (final image); the pencil guidelines still visible.
