19th-century gold wooden ampersand

Originating from a butchery sign, the antique symbol is made from a single piece of wood coated in gold leaf; weathering and age wear enhancing its period character. 24.5cm high; 2.5cm deep. The back with two original screw holes; the iron mounting bar outlines still visible. See more letters »
