George V metal fire bucket, c. 1920

Painted Fire Sand above a gold monogram for King George V, the weighty bucket has a thick, tubular swing handle and rivets to the sides and around the foot; the red paint weathered to an attractive patina; the cream interior with paint losses and some roughness from the sand.
