Rare pair of antique French dijon mustard pots
Dating to circa 1900, the porcelain pots are labelled for Grey Poupon Dijon (est. 1866) – a brand known as the "fine wine" of mustards. The necks both decorated with prize ribbons; the reverse sides with an illustration of the original cap and the words Exiger La Capsule (something like Insist On The Seal). 12.25cm and 9.5cm high. The bases stamped for the Sarreguemines pottery. Light age wear
