Mid-1900s tin Latin prayer sign

Made from celluloid-coated tin, the rare hanging plaque is a sort of priest's cheat card marked with a selection of formal prayers to be recited during ceremonies. Marked in red and black on cream; the base with maker's name Vanpoulles, London (est. 1908). Features reinforced metal edges, a card backing and twine hanging loop. A rare curio for the interior! 26.5cm long x 18cm. Age wear
