Formerly attached to a locomotive engine, the rare lantern is painted white; glass lens, inspection windows and paraffin burner all intact; the chimney embossed BR (W). A fine stand-alone display piece brimming with rustic character, the lantern can potentially be lit up with its original burner, or with candles or electrical lighting. 36cm tall x 22 x 19cm. In as-found, age-worn condition
